HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY Grant
Transports senior management is members of the Transportation
Safety Group of Ontario. Our driver training staffs are members of the Council of Driver Trainers as well as being certified by the ministry of transportation. Our Commercial Vehicle Operating Record indicates that our company’s violation rating and Out Service ratings are below the provincial averages. Grant Transport Safer Stats, which are monitored by the Department of Transport in the United States, are far below the National averages in the United States. All of our operation staff are trained in the Transportation of Dangerous goods, WHIMS training, Load securement, Extreme Weather driving, Backing skills, Hours of Service training, Preventive training on Drug and Alcohol abuse, Pickup and Delivery training, How to protect the company's CVOR. Training on the Highway traffic act and the Canadian safety code. Canada Labour Code part II Grant
Transport has and active and dynamic Joint Health and Safety committee
with a cross section of employees from each department working to
together for a safer working environment. The Transportation industry is
so dynamic that our staff is continuously upgrading their knowledge and
skills. Management of Grant Transport is vitally
interested in the health and safety of its employees. A major ongoing
objective is to protect employees from workplace injury or illness.
Grant Transport makes every effort to provide a healthy and safe
working environment. All supervisors and workers must be dedicated to
